“My concern is sound quality. On my current tv the sound is muffled so sound is the reason to consider this unit. Thanks Fred Seff”

the remote for volume is flawed. do not recommend.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't give you a definitive answer because of the way I use my 24" F20. It's mounted on the wall next to my work bench in my garage. I bought a TV this small because it had to fit into a small open space between racks and wall mounts in that garage. One of the main reasons I selected this unit is because it's one of the few current smart sets that has an analog audio out / headphone jack out so I can directly connect the TV sound output into a Sony contractors boombox. I originally placed the Sony there to listen to music while I work. I can tell you that the sound as output to the boombox through that headphone jack sounds very good and without any obvious muffling of the TV sound. I cannot tell you whether it will sound that good using only its own audio amp and speaker in a quiet environment.
