- Answer Somewhat. You can adjust it relative to the refrigerator temperature, but it's not separate and it's not very precise. There's a slider behind the crisper drawer in the refrigerator section that controls the airflow between the refrigerator and freezer. Sliding it one way makes the freezer colder, the other way makes it warmer. But there's no separate temperature control for the freezer, just an adjustable vent.

- Answer No, although the freezer section isn't really deep enough to have a "back". The compressor is located behind the freezer, so the freezer section is only 12" deep. In addition to the two shallow freezer shelves, there's a single 11" deep drawer at the bottom of the freezer section, which slides out about 8".

QuestionDoes the cord have a flat or low profile plug? Or is it the usual kind of plug? The only outlet I can use near my fridge is behind a cabinet. It can only accommodate a flat or low profile plug. My old fridge had a flat plug, so it wasn't a problem.
