This cable is not rated for in-wall use.

Although nearly any cable can physically be run inside a wall, only certain cables are fire rated for in wall use. This cable is not. Note that through a wall is not the same as in a wall.

I think so, I ran my cord through two closets and into the attic to attach to my router.

Sure. May not be easy to pull though with end fittings attached. Do not run with electrical wiring; keep separate.

We have a cable like this that we connected to the router and ran it through the attic access and down to an opening in the wall in my son's room to provide direct connection to the network and it works great. Not sure if that helps but it works for us.

Yes. Try to avoid the nicking it on the drywall nails or anything else sharp though.
