I'm having the exact same issue, purchased this in June. The manufacturer has offered NO HELP to me. Would love to know if you get any answers.

The Manuel says that it beeps 8 times and shuts off if there is water build up while using the AC function. Bring it to your bathtub or put a walled tray underneath and drain the bottom drain plug on the back of the unit. Haven’t used the system yet btw, just read the Manuel. Hope this helps.
