• All traditional air conditioners naturally dehumidify as a biproduct of cooling the air - that is what air conditioning was originally invented to do. The dehumidify function exists to dehumidify the air without also cooling it. So yes you run the cooling mode without the dehumidify function, but it will still remove moisture from the air.
