“I purchased these speakers a week ago. I love them but whenever I connect the Bluetooth to my phone it’s choppy way too often. My phone is close as well. What could be the issue?”

I'd exchange them. I've owned these speakers for a few months and had a half dozen phones connect successfully - some while sitting in in top of the speakers and others ranging as far away as hundred feet and an entire floor above. I'm sorry you're having issues, but assure you that's not the norm in my experience! Good luck!
