No, these speakers do not support HDMI(ARC).

My Sony TV has a headphone jack, and I believe the speakers came with a headphone cable. I haven't found time to try it yet, as I've only hooked up the speakers to a minimal turntable system via Bluetooth. You might check to see if your TV has a headphone jack out. If it does, see if you can look up the set up instructions for the speakers online and make sure it can be used that way. I did look at the instructions, and while I quickly glanced at it, I seem to recall it can be hooked up that way. If your TV has optical out, you might look into an optical to RCA cable. I don't believe you can just use a HDMI to RCA cable and just leave the video cable unplugged. Your TV most likely needs to know that it is splitting the video and sound apart into two different outputs. Good luck.
