“Can the ice maker be replaced? We have two fridges , model NS-RSS26SS0, both units ice maker stopped working... can't get it to reset, or produce ice anymore. HELP”

you best bet is to replace the ice maker motor NTGZ004k02. You can get them off amazon for around $25. You will have to splice your existing power cable as this unit is for samsung and the cable isnt long enough for insignia
