I've had mine for over a month and a half, and so far no leaks. There is a disclaimer that states that during extremely high temperatures the freezer may experience some condensation. However, if you keep your home between 68 and 74 degrees during the summer months, I don't see that as an issue.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. I have mine in the basement which is damp during the summer months. Water puddles beneath the freezer due to condensation. It’s not a water leak from inside the unit. Solution? Purchase a small quiet fan available on the internet and place it behind the unit on the floor. Puddles gone! Generally, there is No need to run it during the colder months but check that out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In the three months we've had it it's never leaked. If you defrost it it and use the built in drain you might some spillage if you're not careful.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Because my plan was to place 10 gallons of water in the unit, and I didn't know if it would leak, I first put GE Silicone Sealer on the inside seams and around the drain plug. I now have 10 gallons of water and 1.5 gallons of antifreeze in the unit, and have had no leaks. I use a RioRand 12V DC Digital Cooling/Heating Thermostat Temperature Controller with 10 Amp Relay With Waterproof Sensor Probe that I got on Amazon to control the temperature at -2 degrees Celsius, and I use a small aquarium pump to circulate the cold water to keep my computer cool. Works great!
