QuestionHow often does the ice build up so there's a need to defrost it?

- Answer theres a few factors that depend on the ice build up. is it humid in the location you keep it? does the temp fluctuate where you keep it. so far we haven't had to defrost it and we keep it in our garage

- Answer We set our dial at the middle of the range and it regularly maintains a temperature in the -10 to 0 (F) range.

- Answer the left side is 8 3/4" W x 14 1/2" L x 27 1/2 " D the right side is 8 1/4" W x 14 1/2 " L x 19 1/2" D the basket is 7" W x 13 3/4" L x 6 1/2" D it gets a bit narrower at the bottom of the basket. these are the top dimensions

- Answer This is a freezer. I have it but I see it to medium and everything is frozen. I think it would just take longer for items to freeze. But this freezer is very compact. It is perfect for an apartment.

- Answer I don't know if it will fit in your car, but with the help of an employee, we were able to fit this in the front passenger seat of my 2004 Buick century...we had to take it out of the box and do a bit of maneuvering the seat back and strapping it in with the seatbelt. I was able to remove it from the car by myself and carry it up to my 2nd floor apartment (would've been easier with another person, but it's fairly lightweight, just a bit awkward with most of the weight on one side of the freezer. It would not fit in the back seat or trunk of m my car, so consider using the front seat out of the box.
