Moving your freezer: 1 Unplug your freezer from the power outlet. 2 Remove all food. 3 Securely tape down all loose items inside your freezer. 4 Tape the door shut. 5 Make sure that your freezer does not tilt more than 45° from the upright position during transportation. If your freezer has been placed in a horizontal or tilted position for any period of time, let your freezer sit upright for 24 hours before plugging it in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I laid mine on the side in my SUV bringing it home from the store. I just let it sit upright for a day before plugging it in and it's been operating perfectly. That said the drive home was only 15 minutes.
