“Purchased the freezer, plugged it in the next morning. It was quiet until a couple hours later it makes a buzzing tone/noise. Sometimes the buzzing noise gets faster then slows down. I tap it and it goes away then starts again. Is something wrong with it?”

Mine did not have these sounds. You may want to consider an exchange and/or make sure it's level.
