“Just got the freezer and it's been plugged in for over 24 hours.... noticed that it makes a low hum throughout the day but would occasionally cycle to a high pitch noise. It's not too loud but was wondering if the high pitch sound was normal?”

I had no noise when I plugged it in. Since purchasing, its "quiet as a mouse"
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I have this freezer and a mini refrigerator, they both make the noise because the motor is on making the inside colder. It might have dropped a degree or two on the inside so kicks on the motor.
