Allow 4 inches (10.2 cm) of space between the sides of your freezer and the surrounding walls, 4 inches (10.2 cm) between the back of your freezer and the wall, and do not block the top of your freezer. This allows for correct air ventilation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Facing the freezer from the front, there is only a "vent panel" on the right side of the unit. The other three side have none. Do not believe the "right side" of the unit would need more than 2 inches of clearance? The unit freezes very rapidly. Our refrigerator/freezer stopped working on a Friday, no service available until Wednesday, we were lucky to find one available! This Freezer saved hundreds of dollars of meat in our not working refrigerator/freezer! Took 5 days to have the refrigerator/freezer fix/serviced. ALL THE MEAT WAS SAVED!! This is a great freezer for the money. Purchased one for my daughter at the start of the Pandemic. Thank you BEST BUY!
