I have a Hyundai Elantra and the guys at Best Buy put the freezer in a shrink wrap, ( out of box) and laid it down on the back seat. It is not heavy, I am a small senior woman, and I did not have any problem.

It fit in my 2016 Subaru Impreza with room to spare. Easy peasy. On its side, so be sure to stand it upright for 24 hrs before plugging in per instructions.

It would NOT fit in my car. I have a 1997 Honda Civic EX Sedan 4D.
If you aren't sure if it will fit in your then consider ordering with delivery to your home unless you know someone with a van or truck.
I had to get a handyman to pick mine up.
