“What is the fuse rating' If it takes 4 amps at start up can I assume the fuse is rated at least 6 amps.. I ask this question because my freezer runs fine for several mounts then it blows the fuse. Is the fuse too small or is something going on? Thanks”

Hello Dennis, At start up it takes 8 amps for a brief time. If for instance the power goes out and both units draw 8 amps at start up then it could trip the circuit but that is unlikely.
