“Will this work if I want to connect my microphone to my iPad? I want to be able to record and have it go straight to my iPad...if this doesn’t do that, is there a product that will?”

• No, being an aux cable it won’t transfer that data to your iPad, however there is a cable you can get an iOS OTG adapter or get a powered usb hub then attach a usb c to lightning connector to your iPad which should connect a usb microphone
