• This Y adapter is able to split The stereo signal to two separate devices. Your ear buds will still work in stereo however the fourth conductor auxiliary, For your EarPods should be the microphone, will not work. Hope this answers your question.

• EarPods are Bluetooth. This is 3.5mm jack only. It can only connect two devices with 3.5 mm jack built in. Depending on your iPhone you may not have it. If not Apple sells an adapter to let you use 3.5mm jacks.
