bklynsu, I asked the Geek Squad, if it would work for the countries I would be visiting to . They said it would, but I won't know for a few more months. I suggest you Google, power used in Kazakhstan and you will get the following: In Kazakhstan the power plugs and sockets are of type C and F. The standard voltage is 220 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz. Take this information to the Geek Squad and they can provide some guidance. Hope this helps
