Simply plug one end into a device such as a computer, the other end has an input for a flash drive, another USB cable, etc; this is more an extension cable than a regular USB cable. QuestionIs there a shorter length of this cable? 6 or 12"? Am trying to play music from a flash drive on a 2019 CRV USB. Is This cable IF and 2.0 which my manual said is needed. If it doesn't work, can it be returned? Thank you.

QuestionWould this work for a gaming headset? I normally plug my headset into the front usb ports but they arent as strong as the ports in the back but my cord isnt long enough to reach the back and be comfortable for me.

- Answer I don't believe so - i.e. no electronics .. However from what I have read, since an "inactive" cable can extend a USB port or USB active extension cable by up to 3 meters and this cable isn't that long, it should work I used it to extend a 3 ft video camera USB cable and and have had no issues...
