- Answer I guess I am not sure about the 3.0 and I threw away the packaging. I just wanted a cable that I could plug directly into the USB ports in my RV without needing the charging cube; my new iPad had the USB C. It worked for what I needed it for!

- Answer No it will not. Apple IPhone X is charged with a lightning cable, and this is a USB-C type cable. It will not charge the iPhone!
