“So I’ve never had a portable air conditioner. I had a horrible experience with a window one last year…so it’s an upgrade to me! But how do I make sure that when it rains or is super windy out everything stays where it should & no rain gets in?”

I use window locks that keep my window units secure in place for less than $5. I place them top and bottom. This also ensures security. Water does not come in, due to the window unit vent holder construction, it is durable. I also cut a pool noodle in half to place between the windows to keep out drafts and bugs!
