• Yes it will always shut off once the temperature you set is reached in the room. If you hold the fan button for 3 seconds it will change to constant fan.

• It is normal for this Portable Air Conditioner to shut off when it reaches the desired temperature. If the room temperature goes up, it should turn back on.
