A:AnswerYes the speakers are stereo, but not surround sound. as long as the signal coming to the TV is broadcast in stereo, which most stations are now, you will hear stereo on the TV. the sound isn't bad for a TV of this size and price, but it's not going to be room-filling on its own. you'd be better off with a soundbar if you wanted that kind of sound.
A:AnswerYes. I hooked up an older computer speaker system with a small subwoofer. They work great. A bonus...I use the remote that came with the TV to control the sound volume of the computer speaker system.
I have no idea if Bose computer speakers work but if they work with your computer I would assume they will work with this TV.
