“bought this tv and set up my xfinity remote (xr15) to be able to manage volume and power on/off the tv. Volume works fine and can turn the tv on, however I cant turn the tv off from my cable remote, any help?suggestions?”

We suggest you use the Fire TV Edition remote to control your TV. Try the Power On feature, when enabled, the TV turns on displaying the last used input. To activate it, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.
