• No, but you will need an internet hookup for the Amazon, netflix, hulu etc. Great TV for the price, time will tell

• Yes, it comes with power cord and has everything needed in the box. If you want to future proof it you can add a USB thumb drive so you don’t have to worry about running out of room when installing apps.
