That's because this TV is designed to be used as a fire stick type. It's main design has fire stick software installed. I would suggest going into settings and changing it to the last known input so that it continually stays on whatever input you had. But once you change it back to watch it as a fire stick or as a input for Blu-ray player when you turn on the TV that is the last thing you will see. If not you will continually have to change it to RF input for the antenna and will not stay on that unless it's all you ever use it for. Too many other better TVs out there to choose from.
