QuestionWe bought this Smart Fire TV edition to use in our RV. Can you just go to live TV? And do you have to have internet to watch Live local channels. It may not work for our RV because we don't always have internet.

- Answer You can watch your local channels by hooking up an antenna to it. Go into settings and set it to antenna and use auto scan to search for channels. You will need an internet connection for the apps, such as Netflix, YouTube and etc.

QuestionI've had this tv for a few days. I attached an old dvd player and it worked for 2 days. Since then I get a negative image and a notice that it is not hdcp compliant. Will I need to get a Blu-ray player or some other solution?

- Answer I would try an audio/ video cable. The tv did not recognize my bluray player via hdmi but no problem with the audio/ video cable.

QuestionI linked my Xfinity remote with the tv, but my problem is that I want the tv to always turn on to HDMI instead of using the insignia remote to get from the home screen to the HDMI. How can I do it?

- Answer In Settings->Display & Sounds->Power On if you set the default to Last Input it is supposed to start on whatever input you were on when it was shut off. I say supposed to because it does not consistently work. Otherwise the default is to start on the home screen.

QuestionI want to buy this TV from Best Buy. The TV is the same price on Amazon, but the protection on Amazon is WAY cheaper than the Best Buy protection. :(

- Answer Not sure if this is a question but I'll answer it anyway I wouldn't bother with a extended warranty there's a manufacturer's warranty that's on the TV and if something's going to break it usually breaks during that period for the price you paid you can just buy another one

- Answer Try the Power On feature, when enabled, the TV turns on displaying the last used input. To activate it, go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.

- Answer No. There's plenty of free movie apps out available in the Fire TV app store. But if you want to watch Amazon Prime you'll need to subscribe. The same goes for Hulu or Netflix.
