“I'm guessing This TV has closed caption? It seems very similar to the one for $109 it looks like the only difference might be that 1040 versus 720”

• Yes, it has nice closed captions which we use. And after comparing the Insignia for $109 to this one for $119 the HD vs Full HD is the only appreciable difference I could see. We decided to take the Full HD for a better quality picture for only $10 more. Picture and color are great. Glad we got the better set.

• Yes. By law all TVs sold in the US since 1993 has the ability to display Closed Captioning built in.
