• I have this item. Just bought it about a month ago. Mine makes no sound at all...extremely quite :)

• Mine is located in the kitchen and I don't hear it at all. I guess this is lottery, some can be a little louder, it probably depends on tuning and how you adjust its feet so it doesn't shake.
