• I seem to remember reading that this is not recommended. You can download a pdf of the user manual online to verify that. I keep mine 5" from the wall and there is nothing above it to obstruct air flow.

• Per user manual for NS-WC34BK6: 5" between the back and sides of the cooler and any surrounding walls. Designed to be free standing and should not be recessed or built in. Locate away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (stove, heater, radiator, etc.). Avoid locating in moist areas.
