I have attached the hose and have it draining below the unit (gravity). The bucket filled and the unit shut off with “P2” on the display. Obviously, it was not draining out of the hose. Why? Could it have something to do with the float? null

I’m having the same problem. The hose I’m using is kink-free and have pressed the “cont” button. I’m going to try again and will let you know how it goes.

Make sure there are no kinks in the hose. Even the slightest kink can cause it to switch to drainage into the bucket rather than the hose.

I hope the hose up to my unit made sure that the tank was fully insured it and I have absolutely no problems with the draining you must be doing something wrong
