I use slow discharge AAA rechargeable batteries with these flashlights - long lasting and bright.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see why not, but I've found rechargeable's don't have as much power & the charge doesn't last as long as a good quality battery. I use the same batteries that I use in my flash unit for my camera.
