I don't have a dollar figure for you, but I wouldn't count on this unit being efficient. If it otherwise works for your application, I'd try to position it as close to the exhausting window as possible, so the uninsulated exhaust duct radiates as little heat as possible back into the room you are cooling. Also, you could take some measures to fill in the gaps and spaces where the duct mounting parts are in the window area. For me. this unit is a stop-gap measure to use while I go through a drawn-out process to replace my central HVAC system in a condo complex.
