Will this work on the new Macbook Air 15 in.? null

Yes. I use it with my older MacBook Pro with the touchscreen function bar (that has two USB-C ports and this brick lets you power / charge that and also charge an Apple Watch at the same time).

@Bill: Unfortunately, I don't have a MacBook air 15 inch to personally evaluate whether it's compatible with the wall charger. However, if the MacBook Air has a USB-C port, than the wall charger should work because it's USB-C compliant. Hope this helps!
