“Can it be used as a PC monitor?”

• I have a Dell Inspiron laptop fairly recent edition. And I have an adapter from it to HDMI that connects and works fine with my Dell desktop monitor. Having said that I did disconnect my laptop and tried plugging it into this TV with the HDMI adapter and it did not work.
