“Is there any way to control it without the remote? How does a TV not have buttons?”

• There's a power button on the bottom, but I think that is it. Why not use the remote anyway?

• This set does have a power button on the bottom - it is located on the optical sensor for the remote.

• If you have any universal remote or a remote control for your cable box or DVR, it easily programs to this television. I programmed my Xfinity Comcast remote in 30 seconds to control the television.
