Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We had this same problem with our previous washer (not this make/model). Even though the washer appeared to be working fine, after 2-3 weeks of noticing the smell I discovered that not all of the water was draining. Some remained and was sitting under the tub after the final spin cycle. The clothes had a “not clean” smell after washing them and the washer had a musty odor. Our washer was old enough we opted to replace instead of fix.
