“My washer doesn't swish back and forth during wash cycle. It will move a few times very lightly a few seconds on and off then after some time it will then drain rinse and spin. Is this normal? Im used to washers actually agitating the clothes with force.”

Your machine is broken. I had the same thing happen after using it for about a month. It should be agitating the clothes.
