There's a "soak" button on the washer. Push that button before starting machine. Load clothes , add your bleach, close lid, push start....and you are good to go ;)

As others have stated, you can use the soak button, but you can also pause the machine. Have it fill up, hit start/pause to unlock the lid, add detergent and bleach directly into the water, close lid and hit start/pause to get machine to start again. After it has agitated a bit (to distribute detergent and bleach), hit start/pause to stop the cycle. After items have soaked for your desired length of time, hit start/pause to continue the wash.

You can fill the tub and add bleach to bleach soak towels.
