QuestionIs there anyway to get the wash water cold? I put it on cold or tap cold and only the rinse water is cold. The beginning water for washing is extremely hot. It's shrinking my clothes. I'm so confused?

- Answer I have the same issue. There's something wrong with the machine for sure. It's shrunk all of my clothes -- including length-wise from one day to another. So something I wore on a Friday that fit, if I wash it on a Saturday, it's suddenly too short. It's installed properly and I even had a tech out and they said nothing is wrong with the installation. It's the machine.

QuestionWe bought a insignia eco autosensing washer 6 days ago. The drain hose was already hooked to the machine, like the manual said it would be, so we attached the other end to our drain pipe and it leaks from middle of the hose. Please help.

QuestionHad the washer about a year and has started to make a ratcheting noise while the agitator is moving back and forth. I can see there is a double gear setup under the machine and see what is ratcheting(gear stop?) Any ideas?

- Answer Hello Norinse. • Make sure that the power outlet is a working outlet. • Check the fuse or reset the circuit breaker. • Close the lid, then press the /Start Pause button to start your washer. For your safety, your washer does not spin unless the lid is closed. • Before your washer starts to fill, it makes a series of clicking noises to make sure that the lid is locked and to do a quick drain. • Sometimes your washer may pause between stages in the cycle. Wait to see if your washer starts again. • Disconnect the inlet hoses and clean the screens periodically. The hose filter screens may be clogged. QuestionHi there, is there a way to remove the agitator? There is a piece of clothing wrapped around the flat part at the base of the agitator and we can’t get it out. We tried to unscrewing but seems there are still screws we can’t reach.

- Answer Hello there, Inspect the switch. Test by opening the lid, selecting the spin cycle on your washer, and then manually depressing the switch with a finger.
