A: This machine (Model 7230 and similar models) does not have a 'deep water' (or any water fill) in ANY of the Rinse cycles. The Rinse cycle only applies a slow drizzle of water on the clothes (etc.) during the "Rinse" cycles. It simply does not get dirty clothes, towels, bedding, etc., really clean. For this reason, I am in the process of returning my washer (and dyer). However, if you are washing clean clothes, this is the washer for you! I don't understand why the Maytag company (or sales representatives) do not clearly state this prior to allowing a person to purchase these washers.
A: MVW7230HW has the agitator.
Q: Can washer be returned if we are not happy with it?
A: Yes. Returning the 3rd Maytag washer.
Q: Can I was King size comforters in this machine??
A: It will fit and has bulky item setting. Get the low profile power impeller option.
Q: where do you add the detergents and softners?
A: There’s a pull out drawer over the top of the drum when you open the lid. You add softener and detergent there. Bleach is added in the front right corner. If you’re using powder detergent you take the small liquid tray out of the drawer and add your powder.
A: The paperwork that comes with it says High Efficiency
A: Hello HW, this model does offer an option to use Deep Fill to allow the unit to fill the drum. We hope this helps.
Q: Is the WIFI feature easy to set up yourself? How much does it cost after the free trial?
A: Hello nestaway, yes the wifi is easy to set up the Maytag app provided step by step instructions for setting it up. You will need to have a 2.4 Gigahertz wifi connection and have the home router within 30 feet of the appliance. We do no longer charge for the app. So the app and the WIFI features are free to use. We hope this helps.

Love To Do Laundry Now
This machine is everything you want! Quiet, easy to use and you can control it on your phone. Delivery was terrific, guys were professional and friendly and took care in home & with the appliances. The lack of an agitator prevents any issues with balance and you never have tangled clothes or blankets. Handles all of our needs from daily washes to bedding and rugs with ease.

Cleans Everything
I’ve done a lot of research about washers and dryers, and wanted something that could take king size comforters, along with other bulky items without going to a laundromat. Most consumer front loaders don’t offer the capacity like a top loader without a agitator. The way it cleans clothes is amazing; at first, it scrubs the hell out them with small amounts of water mixed with the detergent, and gradually adds more water throughout the wash, *do not add too much soap!* add the right amount on the cup or scooper, its very efficient. Also make sure your bulky loads are evenly distributed and the washer secured to the ground or it’ll spin off balance, along with keeping the software up-to-date. Be mindful about delicates, this thing is heavy duty! Aside from the way it washes clothes, my favorite thing about this washer is it’s made in the USA, and comes with a 10 year warranty. I’m sure it’ll last much longer than 10 years because it’s a Maytag, and if something goes wrong, there will be parts available. Another thing that sold me, if you walk into a BestBuy, you’ll see a lot LG, and Samsung returns, but not a Maytag; that says a lot about their quality.

Great washer, energy & water efficient too!
I’ve had my Maytag washer for almost a month & have become I can truthfully say that I am very satisfied with it. Especially now that I have become familiar with it. I’ve grown to know which settings are best for which loads. I find myself doing a load of clothes every other day which allows me to always be caught up. My clothes are cleaner & fresher than my old front loader & the cycles are faster yet efficient. I love lhe large capacity which allows me to wash a lot of clothes or towels without overloading. So far, I love it!
