What does delay mean null

It means you load machine with clothes and detergent and set it to start at a later time. (you don't have to be there to start it)

If you use the delay function, that means it will delay the start time of the machine. I use it usually at night or if I am leaving for work. If you time it out right, the clothes will finish washing right when you wake up or just get home. This way you don't have wet clothes sitting in the washer for hours getting the musky smell.

The delay time means the program will start after x hours.
