Yes, however in speaking with appliance techs, familiar with the suspensions of all or many washer brands, household washers are not equipped to consistently handle comforters and blankets. The wet weight cannot be uniformly balanced and causes the drum to bounce off the sides of the washer. I take my comforters and blankets to a commercial laundromat and use the larger commercial washers.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.NO, the manufacturers do not recommend putting comforters of any size into top load washers. Most manufacturers say this is for front load washers only but even then king size is not recommended. The basket size of a top load washer cannot handle a comforter, comforters are also extremely difficult to balance in almost any machine. The usable wash capacity of a top load washer is smaller than a comparable size front loader due to the agitator/ impeller/ wash plate and water levels with the different wash method. I am a certified service tech for several manufacturers including the reported manufacturer of this model. doing so WILL result in our meeting sooner than you would like.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some newer impeller washers like samsung washers say in the manual to fold blankets and comforters but im not sure about agitator washers. You just have to check the user manual.
