“There seems to be conflicting answers as to if the remote works with an Insignia/Roku TV meaning the Roku function is built in to the TV. I would like to know if it does work with it, like entering the channel numbers and accessing the TV/Roku setup menu?”

Hello cc, this remote was not designed for smart TV's therefore while you can control the power and volume, some feature of the Roku firmware will not be available on that remote. Omar S. - Insignia Support.
