The exact functionality cannot given because of slight variations in how TV manufacturers have implemented remote functions over the years. This remote does provide instructions and codes for over 150 brands. The best option would be to attempt to program the remote and see if it will program at all and if you like the functionality that it provides. Best Buy does offer a 15 day return/exchange policy that would allow you to return the remote if you were not satisfied.
