• That USB hub is just so you can use multiple USB devices with your ps4 like if you were to get an external hard drive and ps vr you would need the extra USB ports. It doesn't have a hdmi slot on it.

• Unfortunately, if your USB ports on your PS4 are broken this will not work. You can send your PS4 to Playstation to get repaired. That may be a cheaper option for you!
