• No, this isn't a data transfer hub. If you are attaching something that does this, sure. But on its own, it's a hub that provides an extra four USB A 3.0 ports.

• Well, as long as your IPhone and IPad utilizes a 3.0 USB flash drive, which is needed for this 4-Port USB Hub, I do not see any reason why it wouldn't work.
