The other answer claiming device charging from the hub is not working for me. I have a Nexus 6P which has a Type C connector. It's stock charger is also Type C and the charging cable has Type C on both ends. So it appears to meet the requirements. Howver, plugging the charger into the hub's port and plugging the hub into the Nexus 6P does not charge the phone. In the Notification area there is a 'Use USB for' selection. Changing to 'Charging/Just charge this device' does not stick and has no effect.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If your charging cable is capable of connecting to the USB type C port as well as your phone, then yes this will work for charging your device.
