QuestionWill this be able to charge a Nexus 5x if the charger is connected to one of the type c ports??

- Answer The other answer claiming device charging from the hub is not working for me. I have a Nexus 6P which has a Type C connector. It's stock charger is also Type C and the charging cable has Type C on both ends. So it appears to meet the requirements. Howver, plugging the charger into the hub's port and plugging the hub into the Nexus 6P does not charge the phone. In the Notification area there is a 'Use USB for' selection. Changing to 'Charging/Just charge this device' does not stick and has no effect.

QuestionWill this charge the 12 Inch Macbook when connected?The 12 inch Macbook uses a usb c charger. If I connected the charger to one of the additional usb c ports on the hub will it charge my computer?

- Answer No, this hub is not designed to provide enough power to power devices.

QuestionI have the new MacBook and need to know what is the difference between a USB 3.0 Type-A port and a USB 3.0 Type-C port? I believe the MacBook has only one USB-C port.

- Answer The type A port is your typical USB port found on all PCs, the type-C is the new rounded micro port that is reversible when inserted.

- Answer I don't believe the charger on your MacBook is a USB cable. You may want to check with Apple on what type of cable you would need to charge your MacBook.
